I'll never forget flying down the old Silver Queen lift line in bottomless powder conditions with drifts so high you had to hold your breath between turns. That year the locals referred to the skiing as being in the white room. The lifestyle captivated me. I was determined to make Crested Butte my permanent home someday.
I left town in 1995 to pursue an opportunity in the high tech industry. After a successful run in the high tech industry in Silicon Valley, I was able to fulfill my long time goal and return to Crested Butte.
My next move was to create a business consulting firm. I served companies far and wide with business, technology and product development services. My client list was diverse, my territory global. The job allowed me to call Crested Butte home and live the lifestyle.
Today, I consider myself very fortunate to be in the real estate business in Crested Butte. Working with people that share a similar affinity for this place gives me tremendous satisfaction. I like to think I specialize in helping folks with the process of investing in their Crested Butte lifestyles. The real estate transaction is only part of it.
We all have our reasons why we first ventured to Crested Butte. Perhaps those same reasons are why some of us choose to stay and call this place home.
