As we head toward the busy summer season, year-to-date numbers demonstrate continued demand for Crested Butte real estate. From Almont to Mt. Crested Butte, we've seen 56 residential properties sell with an average price tag of $572,000. This activity represents just over $32 million in sales volume. The hottest "micro" market has been Mt. Crested Butte where 29 of all residential properties were sold. Crested Butte South was second with 15 home sales.

For the same market area we've realized $11 million in vacant land transactions spread out over 22 deals. Rural Crested Butte properties represented 11 of the 22. The average sales price for land was just over $500,000.
