WHY WE LOVE IT: The giant rising bagel on the sign over the door is a good sign that Izzy’s is the place for an a.m. meal. The breads that come with the filling breakfasts are baked on premises, a slim stand-alone that sits along the creek. Homemade soups and interesting sandwiches, along with potato latkes that’ll make your bubbe weep.

Great friendly service. All the pastries, bread and bagels are homemade and the latkes and cornmeal pancakes are delicious!
